JLL Centers Help Shoppers GET FIT!
0 CommentAfter feasting on holiday season delights, the beginning of a new year is always a great time to resolve to get healthy. Participating JLL Retail centers helped kick-start their shoppers’ New Year’s resolutions this year by hosting a new GET FIT in-center event and social media promotion. Shoppers were invited to attend a one-day event at their local JLL-managed center featuring activities such as fitness and yoga demonstrations, Zumba classes, gym membership sign-ups, health screenings, healthy food demonstrations, fitness wear fashion shows featuring key retailers and much more. In addition to the in-center events, the centers’ Facebook fans had a chance to win health-related merchandise such as gift cards to fitness apparel retailers, a Fitbit, free gym memberships or at-home gym equipment.
Each center team customized their GET FIT promotion by incorporating elements such GET FIT banners where shoppers could post their fitness goals for 2015, highlighting healthy food court menu items on social media and reinvigorating Mall Walkers’ programs by signing up new members and adding new program offerings. Center highlights include:
Alexandria Mall hosted a GET FIT health and wellness fair January 24. The title sponsor was Rapides Regional Medical Center and other exhibitors included Built by Don Fields fitness gym, American Cancer Society, Yoga Ya Ya, It Works Global, Young Living Essential Oils, Louisiana Athletic Club and The Atrium Spa. To encourage members to GET FIT all year long, members may enter their lap logs into monthly drawings for a $25 gift card to a Central Mall retailer of their choice.
