JLL Grows National Shopping Center Leasing Platform

JLL today announced it has hired Bob Dishler and Jonathan Lachance as Vice Presidents of Retail Leasing, based out of Los Angeles and San Francisco. Dishler and Lachance will lease JLL’s third-party managed retail properties on the West Coast, cultivating relationships with retailers and securing new revenue opportunities for clients.

And our clients who have varied space needs will get great value from Jonathan’s ability to engage national retailers and unique local shops.”

Dishler and Lachance bring more than 30 years of leasing expertise to JLL, and have a proven track record of retenanting and repurposing regional shopping centers, specialty centers and street retail. Dishler will oversee Rogue Valley Mall and new-to-portfolio assets. Lachance will immediately begin leasing Salem Center in Salem, Oregon, Palladio at Broadstone in Folsom, California and Hilltop Mall in Richmond, California.

Dishler is re-joining JLL after nearly four years as a leasing agent with GGP, where he leased assets in California, Idaho, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. He also served as a Regional Leasing Director at the Hahn Company where he increased occupancy and upgraded the tenant mix on several California projects. Dishler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Real Estate from Santa Monica College. He is an active member of the ICSC.

Prior to JLL, Lachance was the Director of Leasing at Lightstone Group where he worked with online brands to create unique brick-and-mortar spaces. He also served as a Senior Leasing Representative at Rouse Properties where he was responsible for the redevelopment leasing of San Francisco Bay Area malls – NewPark and Southland. Lachance holds a master’s degree in urban planning from The University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is an active member of ICSC and has earned his Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) designation from ICSC.
